Today I pray

Thank you Lord for this day. I am especially grateful for the work you have given me. Allow me to give all I do the full measure of my effort.

As new opportunities present themselves I ask you will allow me to carefully discern their value and make decisions which will lead to success and a greater relationship with you. Thank you too for the people you have put in my life which allow me to spread my wings and find new challenges. Each is a gift from you.

Keep me always mindful of your abundant love for me and allow me to share it with all who I encounter. All of this I pray with a grateful Amen.

Today I pray

After several days of illness I am thankful to be back on the road to recovery. Thank you Lord for giving me days to rest and recover.

Though the days were filled with pain and sickness it allowed me to reflect on a lot things that have transpired in my life. For this time I am thankful. For the discernment of the recent past I also give you thanks.

Know that I am well I pray I may quickly become reengaged in my work and look forward with great anticipation to all of the good work you have for me to do. Allow me to move forward with a true servant's heart and give me the courage to reach out and support my fellow man.

For all of the blessings you have given me I am thankful. Amen
