Today I pray

Dear God, On this day I find myself with many opportunites and challenges. Each a special gift from you. As I prepare to move I find my lifestyle changing again. For the first time in my life I will be living in an apartment.

This provides an opportunity to purge the clutter. Not only the material things but some of the emotional baggage which has held me back from honoring you. Allow me this time to clear a path to all of those things which get in the way of pursuing your call and plan for me.

In life change is ineveitble. What does not change is your love for me. Keep me mindful of that love and allow me to reflect it to all I encounter. In your name I pray. Amen

Today I pray

Heavenly Father, The roller coaster continues. I feel times of extreme highs and then plummet to extreme lows. In keeping mindful of your plan for me I continue to listen for your guidance.

Give me the courage to face every challenge and every opportunity with conviction. remind me of your love and that I am not travelling alone on the journey. You are with me.

Keep me mindful also of all of those who are on similar paths. I pray they will be sustained by your love and be motivated by the gifts you have given them. Help them to find courage in knowing you walk with them. All of this I pray in my Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen

Today I pray

For this day I give you thanks. For the many in this world who are in need for the basics of life I pray they will be lifted up and recognized by those who can assist them.

As nations and neighbors war I pray for a time of peace when the selfishness of man can be replaced with the love of a non-judgemental God. Give us courage to uphold those who are oppressed and feel defeated. Allow each of us to do what we can to improve the circumstances of others.

Make us more Christ-like in our daily lives. Remind us always of your love for us and help us to be a reflection of that love. In peace, Amen

Today I pray

Gracious God, In these days of unrest and indecision I pray for you to intercede and give me directions. Guide me through and lead me again to the path you wish for me to travel.

Though the path may be lightly or never travelled make me bold in my pursuit of your plan for me. Give me the courage to step forward in faith, trusting you are with me.

Bring a sense of peace and contentment to my heart and at the same keep me diligent in answering your call and sharing your message of hope for the world. These things I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen

Today I pray

A new week presents a long list of to-do's. I ask you Lord to guide me through the week and help me to be the most productive. Give me a clear mind and allow me to focus on those tasks which are most important.

Remind me there will be tasks which seem urgent but will get in the way of allowing me to do those things which are most important. In clarity allow me to be productive in my work.

Challenges will surely present themselves allow me the ability to hit them head on and put them in the proper perspective. Give me the energy to continue moving forward in my work. Allow me to alwasys rely on you for the guidance and support I need.

Thank you for my work and those your bring in contact with me. May I always be a relection of your love. Amen

Today I pray

Lord, this is indeed a wonderful day. It is a way to reflect on the many gifts you have given. Especially the people you have put in my life. For they truly have been my salvation.

Reminding me you are with me always, to keep my chin up when things have been rough. They have been there to rejoice in my achievements and console me in my sorrows.

God, I ask you grant us patience as we discover more about your plan for us. Allow your will to remain the goal, as opposed to our own desires. May we continue to serve you in all we do and say. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen
