Today I pray

A new day, new opportunites and a time for creating new relationships. Today Susie comes to meet my family. Lord, it is our belief you had a large hand in bringing us together and for it we are truly grateful.

I pray for Susie's safe travels and am excited about the time you have given us to be together. Continue to bless our relationship. As we look for each other for love and support may it always be based in our love for you.

Allow our relationship to grow and deepen as we learn more about each other and how you wish our relationship to be. Grant us happiness. God I am grateful for you bringing her into my life and am looking forward to our time together. Amen

Today I pray

I have awoken to the blessing of a new day. A day in which I have the opportunity to live to it's fullest. A day for work and preparation, a day to seek out and seize the gifts in which it holds.

Give me the courage to embrace all you have provided to me and to utilize all of my gifts in your service. Strengthen me in my resolve to serve you and allow me to hear more clearly your call for me.

This day is a gift and for that I give you thanks with a grateful...Amen.

Today I pray

Lord, Once again you have proven good things come in your time. While patience is not my long suit, I must learn to wait on you.

Thank you for the blessing you give and thank you for days in which I am given to glorify you. I also thank you for this prayer blog. May it be used as a tool to share the power of prayer with those who read.

Give me the gifts of an open mind and an open heart and allow me to utilize them in carrying out your call for me. Bless those who read this prayer and give them the courage to step out in faith.
All of this I pray in the risen Christ. Amen

Today I pray

Dear God, What an amazing day. I have had time to reflect on the magnificence of your creation. Thank you for allowing me to see so much of your amazing world and for the creativity you have given me. It truly is a beautiful world and I feel privileged to be able to capture some of it photographically.

You have given me so many gifts. I ask you lead me in using them to my full potential in service to you. Allow me to share my gifts with those I encounter and help them to find the full value of their gifts. I pray all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

A Prayer for the Ephesians and for us

Ephesians 3:14-21

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen
