Gracious God, you contnue to place people in my life as reminders of your love for me. As I face the challenges and opportunities of each day these invididuals remind me you are with me. Whether they know or realize at the time they are truly a blessing in my life.
Thank you for them and for loving me. May I continue to be a reflections of this love to those I encounter. Bless this day and my work and give me the perserverance to keep moving forward even when the path becomes overwhelming.

Today I pray
Gracious God, we are in a world of arrogance and power grabbing, I pray order may restored to all of those in position of authority. Give courage to those who are working towards peaceful resolution to conflicts.
Allow those who are working to restore smaller government, putting control of economic decisions back in the private sector and who want to see individuals allowed to advance on their own merits to have their voices heard.
May we work to seek out these people to hold elected office so we may restore our economy and protect the interests of all people.
Give us courage in our daily lives to work towards bringing you to those who have no relationship. Allow us to show our love and consideration for even the most marginal in our society.
In addition Lord I pray you will allow me to work for the good of my fellow man and allow me to serve you in the ways you have called. All of this I pray in the name of Christ Jesus. Amen

Today I pray
You have given each of this the ability to choose our own paths. In this freedom you have allowed us to fail and fall. It is in your unconditional love in which we must learn to trust.
As I continue to flounder in my own self-pity and try to rely on earthly solutions I pray I will learn to rely simply on the love you have for me. Give me the courage to rely on you and your love.
Help me to learn to be more like you. Blind to my own shortcomings which allow me to look for the faults of other. Help me to learn to love others as you love me.
Thank you for the gift of time. Allow me to use it to serve you by sharing all of those I encounter. In your Grace I pray. Amen
